Tilda & Co Challenge ~4~ Baby

That time again and here is my submission for the challenge at Tilda & Co's. Again I have followed a tutorial, this time from the wonderful Katharina one of Tilda & Co's DT members and friend to make this Notelet/Card Wallet, you can view it here . At first I wanted to make some birth announcement cards, as this is what we do back home in Holland.. but they don't really send them here in the UK .. sooo then I got to thinking of making some 'Thank you for the baby present' cards instead *Ü* Click on the picture for a larger view.. The inside looks like the picture below, I will decorate the Notelets when I know what she would like me to put on them.. and then edit this post :) The materials I have used are

  • Magnolia Tilda stamp coloured with prisma and zest-it.
  • Some more MME paterned Papers and buttons from Scrummystash Cafe kit.
  • Quickutz scallop border and photo tabs.
  • Cardstock, Rub-on and Ribbon from stash.
Thanks for looking and any comments you might leave *Ü*

Double Pocket Card

Whilst browsing I've found a great looking tutorial on how to make a 'Double Pocket' Card, by Beate. You can find the tutorial here . It was very easy to follow and the possibilities are endless! This is my attempt and for once I haven't used any stamps!! You can click on the picture to get a better view:

  • Papers: MME Out & About kit from Scrummystash Cafe
  • Ribbon, Rub-ons, CS and bling from stash
  • Punch: small and medium flower from woodware
Really enjoyed doing this card and I think I will be using that shape very often! This card also qualified for the Papertake weekly challenge (blue's) and ScrummyStash Cafe challenge which was to use Ribbon :)

Yummie new stash!!

Have received lots of new stash in the last week! but as I've been feeling a little under the weather, didn't feel like playing at all! ... Today was a different story... and certainly made up for it!! *Ü* One of the goodies was the 'Out and About' kit from scrummystash cafe Absolutely love the colours and the kit is filled to the brim with fab coordinated items First off this this birthday card, followed sketch SC126 at SCS

Tilda Challenge ~3~ Shiney Silver

Thanks for the challenge girls :)
This is my submission, click on the picture for a better look..

I'm impatiently waiting for some nestabilities from the US so this card I made from speckled cardstock and used fiskars oval template to shape it, handcut the matting and Tilda hence the not so smooth edges :P... really can't wait for the sets to arrive!! The shiney silver is a thin metal sheet, embossed with the CB birthday embossing folder.
PP is BG Perhaps, ribbon and rub-ons from stash. Thanks for looking!!

My craft space

Not a lot of crafting done the last couple of days because.....

I have been looking for a better way to organise my Magnolia and other unmounted stamps and also my pens and pencils.
As IKEA opened a new store right here in coventry I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to go and have a browse.
Well, maybe I shouldn't have done because I got sooo many ideas from there!! and it then ment I had a whole overhaul of my craftroom *Ü*
First off.. for pens and pencils I got these containers that hang from a rail, and they are so handy as I can just take the pot I want to work with, and hang it back on when finished, plus I think they look stylish too
Also got some wire baskets that hang from a rail, to display the cute pots (from ikea) with flowers, ribbon and other tools.
Then I got some DVD racks to store my Magnolia stamps, I've stamped 3 or 4 on paper and slipped this into the cover and then used a labeler to let me quickly see what is in each case.
This took me absolutely ages.. didn't realise I've got so many of these cuties!!
My folding cabinet is at the other side of the room, but I am debating to either sell it or give it to Cherise (DD) as it is absolutely huge! when open, and as its in front of the window it is taking away alot of light.I am so pleased with my own space, I can just sit on the floor and look at all my lovely goodies *Ü*

Ismaki Challenge #2

Yay.. another sketch challenge this time from Ismaki.. Didn't want to go for yet another Magnolia stamp (eventho I love them to pieces) but I wanted to make a card for my SIL and she's more Diva-ish so thought this more fitting.. plus I wanted to give some of my other *very neglected* stamps a dusting!

Stamp ~ Art-Kure coloured with prisma's, PP ~ Papermania, Rub-ons ~ Junkitz, RicRac ~ Stash, Slanted card blanc ~ scrapagogo card kit
Thanks for the challenge girls, and thanks for looking!!
Edited to add this closeup.. can't seem get a better pic of the whole card and it looks so much better IRL *Ü*

Tilda Challenge ~2~ Numbers

Oooh.. that week has gone quick and the Tilda & Co Challenge for week 2 has been set...This week we are to use a number(s) anywhere on your project with your Tilda. This is my entry

Materials used:

  • ~Tilda and hearts (from the heart tag) stamps: from Magnolia, coloured with prisma pencils and zest-it
  • ~Patterned papers: PaperMania
  • ~Cardstock embossed with Cuttlebug
  • ~Rub-on letters: Were in a past scrapagogo kit
  • ~Ribbon and love badge: from stash.
  • and another kick-stand card (from SCS challenge).. really like this card-shape at the moment

Thanks for looking and any comments you might leave *Ü*

.. In the mood for Love

Really fancied an early start on some Valentine cards so had a play:

Ingredients:
Stamps: Magnolia Tilda baking and woven heart, PaperMania Love and Hugs
Patterned papers: PaperMania Love pad
Ribbon:From a past 'Silver Little Hat' kit
Sketch and Kick-stand card idea lifted from SCS Challenge (SC158)
Was pleased the way the woven hearts turned out.. I stamped them on pp and on cardstock and cut them out, Then cut into the lines on both and weave them.. simple but oh so effective *Ü*
